After a brief but productive meeting with the Dean of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Dr. Ahmed Hussain, Dewan’s team, led by Mr. Amir Bashir, delivered an engaging and informative session to the students and faculty of DHA Suffa University.

The event attracted over 200 enthusiastic participants, eager to learn and interact. The session featured a dynamic presentation, which was followed by an interactive Q&A segment.

Participants actively engaged with the speakers, asking insightful questions and seeking clarity on various topics of interest. Ex-VC, Engr. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Afzal Haque Advisor to VC also spoke on the occasion and presented souvenir to Dewan Farooque Motors Team.

The event concluded with an outdoor showcase of Honri, where attendees had the opportunity to explore the vehicle up close. The prototype for BESS was also available for viewing and inspect.

The highlight of the day was the test drive experience, which both students and faculty eagerly participated in, rounding off the session on an exciting and memorable note.

The IDEAS 2024 event, held from November 19-22 at the Karachi Expo Centre, celebrated innovation in defense and technology with over 300 participants from 55 countries. Inaugurated by leaders such as Defense Minister Khawaja M. Asif and Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori, it featured 560 exhibitors, including 333 international participants. Turkiye and China led the international presence, while Iran and Italy made their first appearances. A startup pavilion focusing on AI and defense innovations, along with a seminar on Pakistan’s defense production potential, added further significance to the event.

Available in two models, the Honri Ve 2.0 and 3.0, it offers ranges of 200 km and 300 km, respectively. Key features include ABS, ISOFIX child seat anchors, a backup camera with rear parking sensors, and a low-speed pedestrian warning system. Its easy home charging options, including a 7-hour full charge and a 4-hour Donar wall charger, make it highly practical for urban commuters. The Honri Ve’s seamless integration with solar-powered systems further strengthens its appeal.

Trade visitors at IDEAS 2024 compared the Honri Ve with popular hatchbacks like the Suzuki Alto, Cultus, and Wagon R. While these traditional models dominate the market, the Honri Ve stood out for its advanced features and eco-friendliness.
